Advent Calendar and Candles

An Advent Calendar I made out of some matchboxes, I now have about a billion matches that I have no use for lol. I think it turned out okay though.

Just some pictures of our lovely Scrat and Logan (Logan is the dark one) that I wanted to add to my blog.
How cute are they?!
Scrat is becoming more confident now, or at least has been today. He came out onto Daniels knee and crawled into his hoody pouch and stuff. It was really cute to watch.

We had some snow today, it looked so so pretty. I had snow in my hair, and it was just really cool.
I wonder if we will have some more tomorrow. If it settles, I'll try and take some nice pictures, before it gets walked in and ruined.

Not much of a blog entry, but I'll try and post more.

My most recent obsession..

So last night I was browsing craft sites, and decided to look at dressmaking and things of that sort. And today, I went out and walked past a sewing machine shop..

Which wasn't a great idea lol.

I now have a lovely brand spanking new sewing machine sat on its box in the living room, with no place for it to go. I suppose it could sit under the desk, if it can fit through the gap.

But, I've had a play with it, and made my first thing.. a reversible tote bag :)

Its not perfect, but its okay I guess. Daniel said its not bad for a first attempt, so thats good I guess.

I'll have to look up more things that I can make, to make the sewing machine worth buying.

Its another thing I could make for christmas presents I guess. I'm trying to think of more things I can make for people for christmas, as I dont really have money to buy presents this year. I say after just getting a sewing machine.. I should have got presents instead, but I'm selfish.

Anyway, hopefully will be able to make something really interesting one day.

Christmas Cards

I finally got around to making some christmas cards today, I'm not sure if I like them though. I dont really like the stamped one especially, but I dont feel confident using stamps much yet. But, at least I've started making them.

I'm not doing too well with eating better at the moment. But, I'm stopping when I'm full and so on. So I do think the CD is helping, I dont mind leaving food on my plate, and I dont feel too guilty about it anymore.
Theres always tomorrow.

The Dark Knight And Chiquitos

Today I went to see The Dark Knight for the THIRD time and it was just as fantastic!
I booked the screening today because it was meant to be subtitled, but when the film started.. no subtitles.
Daniel went to see why there was no subtitles, but they just said it was screen 8 that was the subtitle screen, not screen 9 and that the internet was wrong.
But even without the subtitles, I caught most of it, and its such a good film anyway. And with the eye candy.. I didnt mind just watching :) lol.
Isn't Christian Bale a bit of alright though? More than a bit anyway!
I dont think this film is ever going to get old with me, its just so brilliant.

When we came out of the cinema, it was quite foggy and dark. It was quite pretty, not for walking around in, but pretty all the same. Then we went to Chiquitos to get some tea. I've never been in there before, but it was really nice. The lighting was quite dim and romantic. Although Daniel probably didn't see it that way, as nothing has changed. Unfortunately.

I wasn't so good on the healthy eating today, as I had a burger and some fries at Chiquitos, the rest of the food was Mexican, and I've never tried that, or wanted to.
But, theres always tomorrow to get back on track.
I've been listening to the Paul Mckenna CD in bed, and its quite relaxing at the beginning. I think its doing some good as I've started to leave food on my plate, and I dont usually do that. I feel especially bad doing it if I'm eating out and have had to pay more money for it. Tight I know..

Have made a couple of cards tonight, a christmas card, a mothers day card, and a card thats just a thinking of you card. I'll upload them tomorrow, when I'm more awake.

Anyway, I'm going to head off to bed soon and dream about Batman saving me or something ;) lol

Halloween 2008!

This is me on Halloween this year, with my fancy wig and attempt at some funky make up. I really love Halloween. I wasn't going to a fancy dress party or anything, I just wanted to do something for the day. I managed to look scarier than usual.. lol!

Weight Loss Tracker

I thought I would post my weight loss tracker on here, to see how I'm progressing.
I cant believe I've let myself get this heavy, I've no-one to blame but myself.
But this is a new start, and with the help of my Trimcraft buddies, I'll hopefully do it this time :)
